Third Friday Discussion (3FD)

Every third Friday,  Bad Girls hosts an open discussion on kink, BDSM, and Leather-related topics. Previous topics have included age play, non-monogamy in D/s dynamics, and erotic wishlists. Membership is not required to attend this event. The discussions are facilitated by a Club member, and all present are encouraged to engage in the conversation. It’s a time to learn, share, and ask questions related to that month’s topic.

Topic : Bad Girl’s History – Instant Panel*

Join us for this month’s 3FD for a conversation about Bad Girl’s club history. Lady Alycyn will be leading the panelist side of this discussion. We are encouraging those who wear club colors & those who have been longer standing members of the club (5+ years) to come join the panel to contribute your own personal histories in the club. Newer members (<5 years) and those with questions about leather patch clubs are welcome to make up the audience/questioner side. 

Please keep the conversation as on topic as possible & respectful. History, especially those stories passed down through oral tradition, has a tendency to be fickle. While social clubs are often rife with personal dramas, this is not an opportunity to reopen old wounds or talk poorly about fellow club members, past or present. To honor the future growth of our club, it’s important we learn about and examine our cultural roots. 

Instant Panels*
Instant Panel is a format that depends on a pre-selected topic that is broad enough for participation. When folks arrive at the discussion group we quickly determine who might be interested in being a “panelist” and who would like to ask questions/be the audience, ideally having seeded at least one panelist in advance. Rearrange the chairs a bit to craft the panel seating row and start digging in. Facilitators play the role of moderator, and the non-panelist discussion folx get to be the audience.

Location: Discussions are held at the Cafe side of  Bare Bones Cafe & Bar. To find us, enter through the Bar (wheelchair accessible entrance on 29th) and then navigate through the back, where the game room is, and make two lefts to get over to the Cafe side. Order drinks and food at the Bar – for food, let them know you’ll be sitting over in the Cafe and they’ll bring it over. At this time, Bare Bones does not have any pandemic rules; attendees are encouraged to protect themselves and others by making thoughtful decisions about masking and attendance.

Timing: The Discussion runs from 7:00-8:30pm, and the Cafe will be open for us at 6:30pm so that we have time to get settled before we begin. After the discussion is over, feel free to continue chatting and socializing in the Bar.

3FD is for women and gender expansive* individuals who find home in women’s spaces and are age 21 and older. Those who do not meet these eligibility requirements are not permitted to attend this event. 

We are committed to creating safer spaces for underrepresented identities. Any racist, transphobic, ableist, or sexist comments in our discussions will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave.
