When: Friday November 10th, 2017, from 7 to 8:30 pm
Where: Bare Bones Cafe, 2908 SE Belmont St, Portland
Bad Girls shiny and Chris (who are also leading tomorrow’s workshop) will lead a discussion pondering, “What makes it hot?”
As an example, take impact play. Is it hot because it’s fun and it feels good? Because you are enduring pain as part of power exchange? Because it’s taboo and makes you feel naughty?
One key role of Full Moon Friday is to ponder why, in an atmosphere of respect for all the different perspectives in our community. Please join us!
Coffee • Loose Leaf Tea • Vegan and Gluten Free Menu Items • Free Wifi • Freshly Made Pastries • Salads • Sandwiches
We’ll pass the hat ($1-3 suggested donation) and purchases support our venue but are not required.
Self-identified women 18+ are invited! (You decide whether we’re the group for you; more information on our front page.)
Accessibility: If you are able to step on or over a 1″ high “lip” in the ground, you can enter through Bare Bones Bar’s side door on 29th St and travel completely on the flat (although with somewhat narrow doors) over to the cafe. If you are on wheels, the venue has a rather steep ramp (covers two steps up in half the sidewalk).
ASL interpretation: If you advise us two weeks in advance, we will do our best to have a kink-friendly ASL interpreter join us for the evening.
Smoke break: There are chairs for smoking directly out front.
There will be a pansexual social after the discussion group for anyone who would like to gather and chat at Bare Bones Bar next door.
